Fresh Air Fund
The Fresh Air Fund is a not-for-profit agency that provides free summer vacations to disadvantaged New York City children. The Fresh Air Fund has extended its year-round programming to the victims of the September 11th tragedy with a series of family camping weekends at The Fresh Air Fund camps in Fishkill, New York for affected children and adults.

Camp Sunshine - Ray of Hope
Camp Sunshine will provide two special weeks of camp, exclusively for the children and families of September 11 victims. The next week is scheduled for October 12th - 16th.

Project Heal the Children
Project Heal the Children is a program of the American Camping Association. Accredited summer camps across the country have designated spaces in day and resident summer camps, free of charge, for children who lost parents in the September 11th tragedy. The friendship and bonding that takes place at camp can be a valuable part in the emotional rebuilding of lives.

Children's Aid Society
The Children's Aid Society is one of the oldest and largest child welfare agencies. It aims to provide the physical and emotional well-being of children and families, and to provide every child with the support and opportunities needed to become a productive, healthy, and successful adult. The Children's Aid Society helps children and families coping with September 11th and its aftermath.

The Todd M. Beamer Foundation mission is to equip children experiencing family trauma to make heroic choices every day.

Comfort Zone Camp
Comfort Zone Camp is a weekend bereavement camp for children who have experienced the loss of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. The volunteer-led camp offers grief activities, arts and crafts and many fun recreational activities. This year, the camp has provided camps and workshops in Virginia, DC, New Jersey, and New York, designed for children who lost loved ones in the September 11th attacks.

Tuesday's Children
Tuesday's Children is a "by the families - for the families" nonprofit organization founded by friends and families of World Trade Center victims. It has made an 18-year commitment to each of the thousands of children who lost a parent on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 by providing programs that offer ongoing structure and support to insure a happy and healthy future.

Cove Center for Grieving Children
The Cove Center for Grieving Children helps to create safe harbors for grieving children and their families. Children can meet in peer support groups to learn about grief and express their feelings through art, games, rituals, and special activities. It also helps parents and caregivers help their children, even in the midst of their own grieving process.

Twin Towers Orphans Fund
The Twin Towers Orphan Fund provides long-term higher educational assistance and mental and physical health care assistance to children who lost one or both parents in the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, or onboard the four downed airliners. It is a long-term higher educational and health care support trust fund with a life span of more than 20 years.
