Celebrating Human Rights, Every Day

What would you do if you couldn't speak your mind? Or couldn't practice your beliefs? Or if you were stripped of your rights because of your gender or race? For millions around the world, these aren't questions — they're the ways they live. Human Rights Day is December 10, and on that day, it's time to reflect on the rights we here in the United States hold dear – rights that so many don't yet have, or are denied.

Human rights don't just happen. People work for them, and often change happens when those who can speak make their voices heard for those who can't. By supporting the cause of human rights worldwide, you bring hope to those without them — through programs that highlight abuses, offer remedies and promote peace with dignity.
